Egg Pouch

Egg Pouch

Put aside your bowl of cereals and make an Egg Pouch. It is delicious and big enough to hold all of your favorite veggies! Since it’s egg whites we are talking about, so this breakfast is healthy too.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Egg white – equivalent to 3 eggs (10-12 tbsp)
  • Mixed vegetables – onion, tomatoes, ginger, bell peppers, green onions, spinach, mushroom, coriander leaves
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Melting cheese – to sprinkle
  • Salt and pepper – to taste

METHOD:

  • Chop the veggies and saute in oil till onions and tomatoes get soft. Add salt. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a big non-stick pan. Pour the egg white and spread it around. Add salt and pepper. Once the egg solidifies, after around 2 minutes, flip over, let it solidify and then flip back. Put the veggie mx in the center and fold over. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Unfold, add grated cheese and fold. Serve immediately.
  • Eat with bread or eat solo! Either ways, it is filling and delicious.

Yield – 1 serving

@ Roh – It is a quick breakfast and you can customize it the way you want. You could do it with egg with yolks or mix in any veggies of your choice. Eat just the Egg Pouch or pair it with bread or a veggie-cheese sandwich.
