Winter’s icy breath
Waking me up from my bed
My world is white
Pure, pristine and crystalline
Maybe I’ve reached heaven or am I still sleeping
There are a million little angels spreading their wings
Happy feelings making me to believe
God is showering upon us his choicest blessings
When white covers green
It envelops the world in its squeeze
This holy shroud keeping us out of harm’s way
Turning my ordinary day into an amazing day.
My hands are frozen
But my senses are awakened
It snows outside
so that you can look inside
Take a moment from your sunny days
And ponder upon your gloomy days.
It snows outside
so that you can light up the spark inside
Cease the humdrum of everyday life
to relax, restore and energize.
Let love welcome you this snowy morning
Put an end to your lover’s whining
Light up some fire
Ignite your every desire
Over coffee and conversation
And poems and recitations
Time to bond and discover
Remove all the clouds that hover
And save some warmth of the morning
to use it later during the evening.
When butter meets sugar
It gives you melting moments to smear!
Cold weather and warm heart
Is such a deadly medley
to create, nourish and repair.
