Smoothie bowl

Smoothie bowl is a creative and fun project. You can add just about anything. Dress up with just about any topping. And if you get bored, you can whip up a bowl with other ingredients. Simple yet interesting, smoothie bowl is the nation’s new favorite breakfast!


  • Rolled oats – 1/2 cup
  • Almond milk – 1 cup
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Banana – 1, half or whole

Recommended toppings:
Almonds flakes, coconut flakes (preferably, toasted coconut flakes), mango slices, flax seeds, chia seeds, granola and pomegranate seeds. Use honey/maple syrup if you need a sweetener.


  • Soak oats in milk, and keep in refrigerator overnight.
  • Add oats-milk mixture, banana and salt to a blender. Pulse it two or three times until smooth.
  • Transfer in a bowl, and add your desired toppings.

Yield: 1 serving
